Covid-19 Update
During this unprecedented situation we are all struggling. I am desperate to do what I do best which is operating on patients and improving their vision. We can still undertake private cataract surgery on selected patients when the patient will suffer undue and avoidable harm by a delay to surgery. We will also face a massive backlog in NHS and private cataract procedures, and I will endeavour to launch into action as soon as I can do so safely. I am seeing some cataract patients to make sure that when we do start operating again we can sort their vision out as soon as possible. We have to balance up the theoretical risk of contracting Covid-19 with the real risk to vision in some patients, so I am still available to see patients with acute problems. Please make contact so we can advise. Please stay safe.
